Mixed reviews here. Nice place for a thorough traveler to stop and relax. Pay crazy price for a chocolate dripped frozen banana ...$16.50 water park entry for kids for 90 minutes - ridiculously expensive. 90 minutes rides than park closes for 30 minutes and so on. Candy shop is fun and Cheese shop has over 200 types of cheeses. Nice addition-cheese tasting.

Water area is best value however no pool it's just slides. Good for kids and adults and well worth it.

Everything is spaced apart so we just drove to each activity as it's on the side of a hill. It costs for each activity but you can get a bundle to save a bit of money but it does add up quick.

Came here a few times passing through & ate afew times inside. Food was nice only down fall is it can get quite busy around peak season so orders may get mixed or they may forget something. So double check your orders & sometimes there may be no tables if it's really busy & rainy.

The giant slide is a real workout to get up the top and the slide goes for about 5 seconds. I don't think it's really worth the price.

We went to The Big Banana looking forward to seeing the opal shop as gemstones are a family interest. We took our 10 year old daughter, who is very mature & well behaved into the opal shop. As we entered we felt very unwelcome by the old lady who was working there. I over heard her telling off an adult customer, asking her not to touch the agate geodes on display. My husband & I tried our best to ignore her and enjoy the opals until she was aggressive & rude to our daughter. Our daughter was only looking in the display cases at the opals, I was right next to her pointing out the stones when the woman approached and asked my daughter in a very rude way if she could read, there was a sign saying not to lean on the display counter, my daughter read the sign but as she wasn't leaning on the counter she didn't think she was doing anything wrong. My daughter has anxiety and is very well behaved due to a fear of being told off. Getting in trouble from a stranger for doing nothing wrong was too much for her to bear so we left the store and subsequently The Big Banana. The rude woman in the opal shop ruined the whole visit. I don't understand why someone who obviously dislikes children would open a shop or work at a children's tourist attraction. She is ruining the reputation of The Big Banana.

It's a big banana. With plenty of activities on offer such as a water park, mini golf, ice skating, a giant slide, toboggan, laser tag, plantation tour, gift shops. Something for all ages. Great place to stop and grab a feed or to stretch the legs when passing through or visiting Coffs Harbour.

Other activities like Lazer tag is quiet where it's a group kind of thing. But I suppose just ask how busy the session is going to be before buying ticket.
