  This is a beautiful rustic charming small theatre with huge talent and a great heart. While some people might think travelling to Sydney or Melbourne is an option. They are the ones missing out. Great shows are performed here like: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Annie, Mary Poppins, Wicked and Sound of Music. The only negative is size.

  First Class Community Theatre. There are reviews posted here that should be taken with a grain of salt. This venue is a community funded resource auspiced by the Coffs Harbour City Council. This theatre should NOT TO BE CONFUSED with capital city state funded and/or commercial venues. Yet, it is successfully run by an energetic & talented committee of volunteers with two salaried support staff. Of course it doesn't run as a 24/7 commercial operation with elaborate and expensive online booking systems, Facebook & Twitter feeds, smartphone apps, mass market market advertising on TV, radio & print. Judge the theatre for what it actually is... a valuable COMMUNITY resource for the benefit of both local residents and visitors. Coffs Harbour is a REGIONAL town and while it may not attract West End and Broadway shows, the Royal Ballet or a large symphony orchestra it does attract high quality productions commensurate with this type of venue. Fairs fair please.
