  For 12 years I have rented the same retail premise, rent always on time. After more than a year of having to close my shop when it rains due to water streaming into my shop from above the doorway I have had enough.

  I wonder if they have informed the owner knows his building is being ruined by the water? It seems like they just don't care? I have a hunch the owners insurance will NOT cover the damage now as the owners/estate agent have known about it for so long and have not fixed it. My advise is to FIND ANOTHER AGENT RIGHT NOW before you loose.

  I have been asking for a year for it to be fixed. Enough was enough. I decided to fix the problem myself, the drain directly above my doorway was simply blocked. FIXED Woo Hoo!!! I advised LJ Hooker who called the same plumber who had been telling the owner new works were required to fix the problem. and now it is WORSE THAN BEFORE.
