  The walk path to get out here is under construction so you walk along the wharf instead. The island itself is a great nature reserve with awesome views and whale and dolphin spotting opportunities. The walk is quite steep, but it's all along stoned paths. At times it was so steep that you could argue that it would have been easier to have built it with steppes instead.

  Fantastic place to visit and walk. Be aware there are moderate slopes in some areas but the views are worth the time and effort.

  Great walk.... always love walking long the top ridge of muttonbird island. Even better spot is right at the end of mutton bird island is a small grassed area where you can sit and watch the fishing boats coming and going. Even able to see a whale or two.

  A great nature walk on a well designed path with explanatory signs to protect the mutton bird nests. This leads to a 360 degree lookout and extends to a lower cliff top ocean view. Well done. It will be even better when the break water works are completed making the entrance walkway even better. A must for anyone visiting Coffs Harbour.

  Lovely spot for a walk. Great views of the harbour and surrounding beaches. Make sure you go when the weather is decent
