  You would think moving into a coastal small town the agents and small community would be friendly and professional to deal with....Well you guessed wrong! L J Hooker were especially unprofessional and never actioned issues that were raised by us. It took repeated emails and phone calls to get anything done. Also on serval occasions Ann Jackson our agent at the time broke the tenancy laws and I had to call the department of fair trading.. She horrible to deal with and just plan rude. Shame on you LJ Hooker!

  Ann was not only extremely rude and unprofessional to me but also my husband and mother! Ann even called the receptionist ‘stupid’ on one occasion.

  After renting in Sydney in multiples places over 10 years I then relocated to Coffs Harbour and rented a property from LJ Hooker.

  LJ Hooker management need to take Ann breaking the law more seriously and have a look at who is representing their company, as ultimately she is the face of LJ Hooker and it doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the business on all levels.

  After filing a formal written complaint against Ann with advice from the department of fair trading, Ann’s manager continued her on the account and she managed to cause more damage.

  For 12 years I have rented the same retail premise. After more than a year of having to close my shop when it rains due to water streaming into my shop from above the doorway I have had enough. I fixed the problem myself, the drain directly above my doorway was blocked, see attached photo. LJ Hooker called a plumber and now it is WORSE THAN BEFORE. I requested to be provided public liability insurance from the owner but none were forthcoming. How can one trade when they need to close their shop due to a safety hazard? My floor is absolutely ruined and for over a year THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING! They still ask for rent when it rains for a week! I would suggest to AVOID THIS REAL ESTATE!!

  I dealt with Ann Jackson who on numerous occasions broke the laws against privacy and was right out one of the rudest most incompetent real estate agents I have ever met.
